  3. ATARI TT030 a real powerhouse,
  4.  
  5. At the dusseldorf Messe also were lots of the new and now final
  6. version of the Atari TT. It's a great machine. The 32 Mhz 32- bit
  7. Motoola MC 68030 and the mathematic coprocessor MC 68882 gives the
  8. Atari TT more then enough power for things like CAD, picture proces-
  9. sing and Desktop Publishing.

  11. Its up to 26 Mb expanable main memory and the internal harddisk with
  12. 50 Mb or 80 Mb can manage large amounts of data. It's very easy to 
  13. connect the TT to external devices: it's ACSi and SCSI ports allow
  14. additional storage media; it's four serial ports, the parallel and 
  15. the LAN port connect to printers and other computers
  16. It's MIDI interfaces make the TT feel at home in the music area, and
  17. it's VME board opens the world of scienctific applications.

  19. There are six screen resolutions, and thjere is the 8 bit PCM stereo !!

  44. It sure looks good, and it said that the software from the ST series
  45. also runs on the TT. I am sorry to say, but lot's of programms we
  46. tested sofar didn't work. But the newest version of the diskmagazine
  47. works fine with it. If the programing is don by the book the even the
  48. demo's work on the TT.If a program doesn't work then that's because
  49. the programmers of these programms used things or special addresses
  50. in the ST or STE, and on a TT these addresse don't exist or just
  51. got some new places. So if you want to buy an TT to work with
  52. a special program that now works on your ST, please go to your
  53. dealer and test the program if it works. Lot's of firms now make
  54. special version of their programs to work with the TT, so if your
  55. program doesn't work check if there is an update of it.

  57. I hope you can use this information, and here is yet something else...
  58. If you find that the TT is to expencieve, try an MEGA STE, it run on
  59. 8 Mhz and 16 Mhz !!!!. Some programs work good on an STE and not on an
  60. TT. So think about it.
